James Shultis to Speak at Symposium

We are excited to welcome back LGBT rights advocate James Shultis for the 2019 Summer Symposium.

James (they/them pronouns) is a community educator, advocate, & creative writer currently living in Western Massachusetts.

With a long history of working in community non-profits, & before that, as a young person advocating for student rights in a small NJ town, James has combined their passion of education & advocacy together to create innovative trainings for K-12 schools, universities, & a wide array of agencies (from health providers to youth-serving ones). Topics have ranged from LGBTQIA+ & Trans 101s, better practices, compliance with local/federal legislation, racial equity, diversity, inclusion, & more.
